Frequently Asked Questions

Do you accept insurance?

At Flourish Family Chiropractic, we proudly serve the community as a cash based, wellness office. We are a direct pay office & all of our practice members pay at the time of service or pre-pay on one of our monthly membership plans. We do not work directly with insurance companies because this allows us more time to connect & build a relationship with you to provide you with the care you deserve, not the care dictated by your insurance provider. Insurance companies are designed for short-term symptom relief which often relies on drugs & surgery, not prevention & wellness.

We are able to keep our prices affordable by saving on the added cost of billing & not having to inflate prices due to reimbursement percentages. Often times, our wellness & family plans are lower than most co-pays (a cost you will have when working with an in-network provider). We do offer SuperBills (a bill you can submit to your insurance company directly for direct reimbursement back to you) for restorative care plans only. Membership packages will be discussed at your Second Visit.

What forms of payments do you accept?

Acceptable payment includes: Health Savings Accounts (HSA), other flex spending accounts, Visa, MasterCard, Debit, & Cash.

Can I get adjusted during pregnancy & what is Webster Technique?

1000%, YES!! In fact, it is recommended you get regular adjustments throughout your pregnancy to keep your nervous system functioning optimally! At Flourish Family Chiropractic, we work directly with your birth team to make sure you have the best experience in during your pregnancy!

The Webster Technique is training offered through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association. This protocol is a tool in assisting the reduction of pelvic, muscular and ligamentous imbalances. You can learn more about Webster Technique by clicking here.

Why am I still experiencing discomfort after my first adjustment?

After your first adjustment one of three things may happen: you feel better, no initial change, or you feel slightly worse while your body is processing and integrating the adjustment. Each adjustment is likely to increase awareness and communication between your brain and spinal cord and may take a few hours, even days, to fully integrate. It is important to note that the evidence of health within a system isn’t merely the absence of pain or symptoms, but the expression of vitality.

By the time most people come to see a chiropractor, many of us have been carrying stress and tension patterns for years. These patterns did not develop over night but have slowly began to compound causing most of us to become unaware that they even exist. We often desire a quick fix or the one stop shop for change, but healing is not linear, and does not happen over night. If after the initial session you feel better, do not assume that the cause of the problem is “fixed” right away because the symptoms have resolved. Again, the key here is that Chiropractic does not presume to treat or “fix” symptoms, but works with the intelligence of the body to return the nervous system to a state of normal physiology, normal function.
